2016 Porsche Macan models recalled in US for anti-roll bar issues

Around 245 cars could feature faulty connecting links in rear ARB joints, leading to wayward handling
Certain 2016 Porsche Macan models are being recalled in the US because of an anti-roll bar fault that could lead to wayward handling.
243 Macans built between 30 July and 9 August have been fitted with anti-roll bar connecting links that could fail and lead to unpredictable handling.
A failing anti-roll bar would reduce body composure at the rear, potentially leading to oversteer during fast-paced driving. A telltale sign that an ARB link has failed is a rattling sound from the car’s rear.
Autocar contacted Porsche UK to find out if any UK cars are affected. A spokesperson said that the UK arm had not been made aware of any issues relating to cars in Britain.
