We pick five of the best deals on this week’s new car market - all deals are valid until 27 October
Buying a new car is always better when you know you're getting a bargain, but scouring the internet for the best deals can be time consuming. So Autocar has done the hard work for you and compiled a list of some of the best savings on offer on the new car market.
We've found combined savings of £18,845 on the following five cars, so take a look below then click the links to read our full road test verdict on each model. All offers are valid until 27 October.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class – pay £30,502, save £5493
The Mercedes C-Class is a smart-looking machine that's more luxurious than its main rivals. What it lacks in dynamic ability compared with the BMW 3 Series is made up for with a fine cabin that feels like it's from the class above.
Orangewheels.co.uk is offering nearly £5.5k off of a C 220 d Sport Premium automatic, bringing the price down to £30,502.
BMW 3 Series - pay £25,014, save £5226
Our pick of the bunch when it comes to driver engagement, the BMW 3 Series is a broadly talented saloon. Smart looks and a functional cabin make it a great companion on long drives, too.
Carfile.net has taken more than £5k off of the list price of a 520i M Sport, leaving you with little more than £25,000 to pay.
Audi TT - pay £28,720, save £4375
The Audi TT mixes sporty looks with a practical demeanour, making it a popular pick for fashion-conscious drivers. The sportiest models also add a layer of performance to the TT's armoury.
Diesel TTs such as the 2.0 TDI Ultra S Line on Uknewcars.com are more focused on economy, and when more than £4k is chopped off its near £34k list price, it makes for a good-value buy.
Land Rover Discovery Sport - pay £38,636, save £2959
The Discovery Sport is the spiritual successor to the discontinued Freelander, but the new car is significantly more fashionable and its strong sales reflect that.
Go to Carfile.net and you can pick up a new 2.0-litre TD4 180 HSE Luxury for less than £39k, with a saving of nearly £3000.
Audi Q2 - pay £21,688, save £792
Audi's Q2 has been designed to appeal to urban hipsters, mixing the high driving position of an SUV with trendy hatchback looks and dimensions.
It's not been around for very long, but even after a couple of months Autoebid.com is removing £792 from a 1.6 TDI SE's list price.
