Kia produces this year's most confusing SEMA teaser

To celebrate car culture, Kia made ... a '90s house music video?

Teasers are often worthless shots of shadowy features, but they sometimes reveal just enough of a car to get your heart racing with anticipation. Very rarely, though, teasers like this one happen to hit the air.
Kia produced a time-lapse video of its journey to Nevada for the 2015 SEMA Show and managed to not actually tease anything.
In the video, we see what would pass for a music video for a 1990s house band and a 2016 Kia Sorento. Not that either of those things are fundamentally bad, we just aren’t exactly sure what they’re teasing -- unless the pizza shot is teasing some sort of special heated seat, designed specifically for pizza.
According to Kia, the video is supposed be part of its celebration of car culture. Kia chose to celebrate that culture by taking to the open road and crossing the country in search of it. That sounds like a great concept, but this video mostly just leaves us scratching our heads. Check it out up top and see if you can make heads or tails of it.
Though, we will admit, we are wondering a bit more about what Kia is actually bringing to SEMA after seeing the video than before -- so in that sense, we guess it worked.
If Kia plays an elaborate trick and doesn’t actually bring anything, you can still check out the plethora of custom Hyundais.
