Audi Q3 Black Edition joins updated 2017 range

Refreshed Audi Q3 range starts at £26,600 and will be available to order from 11 October
The Audi Q3 has been updated with new equipment and trim levels, and gains a new range-topping model called the Q3 Black Edition.
New trim levels
The outgoing range of trim levels, which was made up of SE, S line Navigation and S line Plus, has been replaced with Sport, S line Edition and Black Edition models.
Satellite navigation and infotainment that includes Audi Music and Bluetooth connectivity are standard on all 2017 models. This joins existing standard features such as parking sensors, dual zone climate control and a Concert audio system with DAB radio. LED headlights and dynamic scrolling indicators are sStandard on top spec models.
Engines and gearboxes
Two petrol and two diesel engines are retained in the updated Q3. The car’s entry 1.4-litre TFSI petrol comes with cylinder-on-demand technology and offers 148bhp, while a 2.0-litre TFSI offers 178bhp and comes with four-wheel drive.
As before, two specifications of 2.0-litre diesel are available, offering 148bhp and 181bhp. The lower output unit is the most efficient. It can manage a claimed 62.8mpg and produces 117g/km of CO2.
Again, as with the outgoing range, the 2017 Q3 will be available with a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed S tronic automatic.
Q3 prices
Pricing for the 2017 model starts at £26,600, which is £350 more than before. Order books open on 11 October.
