Promo video features fifth 'Legendes de Bugatti'

In April, Bugatti revealed its Black Bess concept at the Beijing motor show. It was the fifth of a six-part series called “Les Legendes de Bugatti,” celebrating famous people and vehicles in Bugatti's past. Earlier this week it unveiled a promo video for the car.

Black Bess is meant to recall the Type 18 Bugatti, powered by a 5.0-liter inline-four cylinder engine making just 98 hp. Ettore himself drove the Type 18 to a class win in 1912.

This car is based on the Grand Sport Vitesse, meaning it sports an 8.0-liter W16 engine making a smidge more than the Type 18 at 987 hp. Top speed is a laughable 254 mph.
