SRT designers add sweet details to Challenger Hellcat

Easter egg on the upcoming Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. 

Who doesn’t love Easter eggs? They come filled with chocolates, jelly beans and other sugary sweets. Or in the case of cars, the sweetness comes from tasty details like the ones Twitter user @srt616mat found on the all-new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

In addition to a vicious-sounding supercharged V8, and “more than 600 hp,” it seems that Hellcat buyers can expect their fair share of designer-placed goodies sprinkled throughout their cars. The treats don’t really do anything to make the car faster -- not that it needed that -- but they’re a nice bonus for fanatics.

In this regard, the Hellcat seems to be following the trend of other SRT variants -- and Mopars in general -- including the Viper and more or less every new Jeep product. At the very least, it’s a sign that someone at Fiat Chrysler is a true car geek. And that’s exactly the sort of thing we like to hear.
