Callaway SportTruck demo goes on eBay, again

Here's your chance to buy the 2011 Callaway SC450 Silverado, "the rolling showcase for the Callaway SportTruck Program," the demonstration truck for all the goodies Callaway could've thrown at it. That means an otherwise unassuming Silverado 1500 4WD with a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 and automatic transmission plus a Roots-style TVS1900 supercharger with intercooler, beefy injectors behind a carbon-fiber cover, Callaway intake and exhaust, chrome wheels presumably stolen from a Union Pacific "Big Boy" locomotive, requisite badging inside and out, embroidered headrests on cloth seats (bold move, Callaway), aluminum pedals, floor mats, and 111,735 miles of hard driving, we'd assume mostly sideways.
All that for a Buy It Now price of $29,995 -- which, as it goes, is about 36 percent cheaper than the Shelby Raptor Shelby by Shelby that we stormed up our own San Juan Hill.
Sharp-eyed readers will note this isn't the first time the SC450 has shown up on eBay...this month. A few weeks ago the truck was for sale, but with a starting bid of $25,000 and a Buy It Now price of $31,995, it didn't sell: not even to diehard Callaway fans and owners.

The most subtle tuner badge ever made. Needs to be billboard-sized for any indication of success.
