A revised Peugeot 508 is on the way and we know exactly how it will look thanks to this leaked image
Peugeot is working on a facelifted 508 – and this leaked picture reveals exactly what to expect.
A shallower and wider grille apes the one on the 308 hatch, and the headlights now include a subtle step, just like on the 2008 crossover. A flash of chrome sets off the foglights, as on Peugeot’s most recently revealed models. We haven’t yet got any interior pictures, but we’re expecting it to follow the lead of the 308’s i-Cockpit. That means a focus on reducing the amount of buttons by making functions available through a large touchscreen.
There should be a few engine changes, including the arrival of Peugeot’s new 1.6 and 2.0 BlueHDi diesels, with the cleanest boasting 70mpg-plus and sub-99g/km CO2 emissions. A 1.2 e-THP petrol is also a possibility, along with an updated HYbrid4 model.
Expect to see full details on the facelifted 508 in June, with a starting price of around £20,000.
