The 2015 Lincoln Navigator comes out this fall.
The 2015 Lincoln Navigator will cost $62,475, including destination, when it hits dealership lots. The optional reserve package, which comes with 22-inch wheels, upgraded leather and premium Ziricote wood trim, costs $69,975. Four-wheel drive adds about $3,000 to the price.
The standard powertrain for the new Navigator -- and only powertrain, as the V8 has been dropped -- will be an EcoBoost V6 making 380 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. When Ford said the engine could handle more power, they weren't kidding. That engine comes with a six-speed automatic and a tow rating of 9,000 pounds.
When equipped with four-wheel drive, or 22-inch wheels, the 2015 Navigator will come with Lincoln Drive Control. LDC automatically adjusts the dampers for a smoother ride, and fine-tunes the electric power steering. Four-wheel drive models will also come standard with hill descent control.
The Navigator L will offer buyers 12 more inches of wheelbase and about 14 more inches of length. It comes with a 4:10 rear axle, which is optional on standard wheelbase versions.
The new Navigator will be built in Kentucky, and will hit dealerships in the fall.
