Quick news: Corvette upgrades; New Audi A1 engine; Mazda record profits

Chevrolet is offering two new upgrade packages for the Corvette. The first, the Atlantic, is only available as a convertible and has GT-inspired options such as grey exterior trim, chrome alloys and matching luggage. The Pacific comes as a coupé and has racing stripes, an aerodynamic bodywork package and sports seats.
The Audi A1 will be the firm's first model to get a three-cylinder engine, and will shortly be followed by the A3, company boss Rupert Stadler has revealed. The models will use engines currently found in the Volkswagen Up, but there are currently no plans to fit three-cylinder engines into the next-gen A4.
Mazda has announced record profits for the last financial year. The Japanese company attributes its success to its range of SkyActiv vehicles. To March 2014 the company made €1.36 billion of operating profit, a 238 per cent increase on the previous year. Sales in the UK were especially strong; up 35 per cent.
