Tasked with making their own creative vision for the Mini brand, apprentices worked with BMW plant instructors to create the concept car. The Paceman Adventure is powered by the same 181bhp 1.6-litre turbocharged engine as the Cooper S Paceman All4, with the two-seat concept taking the form of a pick-up truck.
Space normally reserved for the rear seats has been removed in the concept, creating a cargo area. Extra space is also created thanks to a roof-mounted rack, which carries the spare wheel.
Modifications to help the Mini take on off-road routes include a modified chassis with larger ground clearance, as well as higher clearance ramps front and rear and a roof-level snorkel air intake. Extra lights and off-road tyres also feature, while the concept is finished in bespoke green metallic paint.
BMW says the model is purely a concept, and there are no plans to put it into production.
